The sun is shining, the dust is up in the air, everyone has a smile on the face as they have made it to the trails, had a few runs and realised their bike is still as clean as the moment it left the garage. For some people christmas and birthdays are those times where the brain constantly reminds itself with little bursts of excitement that something great is on its way. For mountain bikers that feeling exists all year round except for those golden couple of months in the middle of the year where you are living that excitement on a daily basis, ready rip at any moment, day or night. In and amongst drinking ludicrous numbers of cups of tea, building fires to keep the mosquitoes away and sitting back watching the world go round and round. We did occasionally manage to get the digital snapper out and capture just a little slice of what occurred this summer.

Summertime.
